Nationality: Applies to all foreign nationals at all open ports of entry/exit in China.

Eligibility: Hold a valid international travel document (passport) and a confirmed onward ticket for travel to a third country/region within 24 hours (by international flight, ship, or train).

Remain within the port’s restricted area and depart China within 24 hours.

Leaving the Port Area

If you need to leave the port’s restricted area, you must apply for a Temporary Entry Permit at the Entry-Exit Border Inspection desk upon arrival.Application

Requirements:

Valid passport/travel document (valid for at least 3 months).

Confirmed onward ticket to a third country/region within 24 hours.

Complete the Arrival Card for Temporary Entry Foreigners and cooperate with inspection/inquiries.

Stay Rules: Permitted to stay in the port city for up to 24 hours; departure as scheduled is mandatory.
